SpookyCat is a crew of friends who play Minecraft on anarchy servers, and an independent guide to gaming gear, gifts and survival. This page explains how the site makes money.

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the store may pay us a commission. Your price stays the same.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

We may also use affiliate links to other stores. Every page with such links starts with a short notice, so you always know.

How we choose products

We pick products by what matters for the job: a microphone your friends can hear, comfort for long sessions, whether it works on your platform, and whether it survives being dropped. We read the specs and the fine print. Brands can’t pay for a spot in our lists. When we haven’t tested something ourselves, we say so.

Prices and availability

Prices and stock change all the time. When the site shows an Amazon price, it also shows the date and time it was last checked. The price on Amazon at the moment you buy is the one that counts.

About Minecraft

NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT WEBSITE. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT.

We write about the game as players. Product names and brands belong to their owners.
